A Christmas celebration piece with glockenspiel accompaniment, based on the text of Isaiah 9:6:

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his
shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The everlasting Father,
The Prince of Peace.”

Written for the combined choirs of Hutt Valley High School and first performed in the school’s 9 Lessons and Carols service 2006.
